Eiffel Tower
The Process + Recipe
I browsed the internet for a 3D cardboard object I could laser cut/engrave.
I downloaded the file of an Eiffel Tower design onto my computer
I opened the file in illustrator and prepared it for the Laser
I brought my file down to the laser and cut it out
I assembled the pieces into a finished model of the Eiffel Tower

Notebook
The Process + Recipe
I designed a front and back cover to my notebook in illustrator and laser cut/engraved them
I hole punched the cover and the papers for the notebook
I put a spiral into my notebook to hold it together
What I learned:
The laser is a very useful piece of machinery for cutting out and engraving many things with extreme precision and accuracy. You have to be very careful when using the laser and make sure you set it up correctly otherwise you may end up setting something like cardboard on fire. I found that when cutting out something flammable with lines that are very close together, lowering the power of the laser will help it to not ignite and still cut out perfectly.
